POTW :: t4g08 :: thabiti

A little different POTW this week. I’ve started look at some of the pics from this week and posting some on my Flickr page. You can find them all at this set (or watch them in a slide show). Here are some from Thabiti Anyabwile’s message Tuesday night.

  1. I love your photos so much! Thank you for sharing them. Would you mind letting me know what make/model camera you are using? Thank you! Mark groovydudesdude@yahoo.com

  2. Thabiti’s message was probably one of the best of the week. That message was immensely applicational to Deaf ministry! I’m going to blog on that when I get to his message in my T4G reflections.

  3. Yeah, I shoot with a really old Canon 20D, and these images were taken with the 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 IS USM telephoto zoom lens. You can find more info about my photography stuff here:

  4. Those are really great photos of Thabiti. I enjoy his Blog a lot and would have loved to hear anyone from the T4G teach. Anyhow, did you ever read Thabiti’s answers from that Self Disclosure Meme awhile back? I cannot see pictures of him without chuckling! 🙂

    Oh and I did purchase a Nikon. Thanks for all the links and tips.

  5. Yeah, I really enjoyed meeting Thabiti for the first time. It was a pleasure having him on the BoB panel, and he did a great job addressing issues and answering questions.

    Glad to see you went Nikon. Well, not really. I’m a Canon guy, but you’re in good company though!

  6. Trust me—it was a tough decision. I had another friend here in Japan who really tried to get me to go Canon. 🙂 I’m happy with my new camera—-now I’m looking at lenses. $$ Ouch!
