Skye Jethani on Living with God

Here is a good word from Skye Jethani.  As he explains, I think the performance-driven push of living for God has inoculated many Christians from enjoying life with God through the good of the gospel. This is something I was very guilty of when serving as a student minister.  It was a ministry built on busyness (a bulky program of activities, events, fellowships, etc.) and not on the gospel.  What I came to realize thereafter that the emphasis of the former was really a distrust in the latter.  In other words, in order for people to keep people with God, they should be working for God.  I had it backwards. The way for people to live for God is to understand and appreciate life with God.  Indeed, this is a gamechanger. Thanks Skye!
